I can’t believe how well I’ve been able to lose this round.

I extended the length of my injection days by mixing up a bit more hcg (which I will split with my boyfriend who is also on his second round). I’m only doing an extra 6 or 7 days so I can make my goal of 98lbs. I understand that seems really low, but it’s because on HCG I can lose just the fat without creating muscle loss. I might as well get rid of as much stored fat as I can, then focus on strength training to maintain my body and shape it. I’ve come to realize that no matter how much weight I lose my ass is never going to look good unless I start working it more.

I must admit that I’m a little scared for when I finish this round of phase 2 and move onto the maintenance stage of phase 3. I’m terrified of gaining weight back as I did last round and I’m hoping that I can stabilize at this new low weight. It sounds so low, but looks so right. I’ll post updated progress pictures soon. I haven’t been this lean since high school. It feels amazing.

But sadly like most other HCG users I think I’ve become addicted to losing weight. What do I do now that I got to my goal? Will I freak out when the scale goes up- even if it’s muscle weight?

I’ve also decided that for R2 phase 3 maintenance I will continue the same diet of phase 2, but with larger portions and more frequently, and not start introducing new foods until phase 4. I want to make sure my thyroid resets well, so don’t want something like dairy or nuts to throw off my progress. I miss those foods, but I don’t crave them like I did last round.
